B. Neutral switch sensor system malfunction

Check the connection of the
coupler is secure.
Remove the coupler, and
check each pin (for bending,
wear, or locking).
2 Connection of wire harness
ECU coupler
Check the connection of the
coupler is secure.
Remove the coupler, and
check each pin (for bending,
wear, or locking).
3 Continuity of wire harness
4 Continuity of leads between
neutral switch and relay unit
coupler
5 Neutral switch malfunction
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Check or maintenance job
Poor connection → Recon-
nect or repair the coupler.
Poor connection → Recon-
nect or repair the coupler.
Open or short circuit →
Replace the wire harness.
Blue/yellow–Blue/yellow
Open or short circuit →
Replace the wire harness.
Sky blue–Sky blue
Switch inspection procedure
Refer to "CHECKING THE

Replace if defective.
