Selecting the Original Placement for Scanning

This section explains how to scan documents to an enlarged or reduced size. The
following modes are available for zooming.

Auto
Auto Zoom

Press Send. The basic screen is displayed.

Press Function.

Press or to select Zoom and press Enter. The Zoom screen is displayed.

Press or to select Auto and press Enter. The display shows Completed and
returns to the Function screen. The original is scanned so that it fits onto the selected
send size.

Press Send. The basic screen is displayed.

Press left Select.

Press or to select the original placement required and press Enter. The display
shows Completed and returns to the basic screen.
Using the Platen
Top Edge to Rear

Description
Scan documents at the same size as the original.
Adjusts the zoom ratio so that the scanned image
fits onto the selected send size.
