MAINTENANCE WORK ON CHASSIS AND ENGINE

Checking play in gas Bowden cable

Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten screws.
(690 SUPERMOTO R)
Check the fluid level.
The fluid level must be between the MIN and MAX markings.
» If the fluid level does not meet specifications:

Move the handlebar to the straight-ahead position. Move the throttle grip backwards
and forwards to ascertain the play in the gas Bowden cable.

» If the gas Bowden cable play does not meet specifications:
Adjust the play in the gas Bowden cable.

Remove screw with membrane.
Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.
Hydraulic fluid (15) ( P. 153)
Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
Refit screw with membrane.
