Checks
1 Is trouble occurring due to twisting or
fraying of the wire that is wound onto
the wire pulley while the scanner is
moving?
2 Gently move mirror1 mount manual-
ly. Does it move smoothly?
3 Is the trouble resolved when the car-
tridge is replaced?
4 Is slipping or fracturing occurring
due to gear wear of the printer unit
main drive assembly?
5 Check the connection of connector
J304 on the DC controller PCB and
the laser scanner unit. Is the connec-
tor firmly connected?
6 Is the trouble resolved when the
laser scanner unit is replaced?
