Streaming is the default stream used for video recording and Sub Streaming is used
for Live Viewing. Each stream can be configured separately.
See Camera Settings in Basic Setup for details about video settings for
both streams.
Configure Sub Stream (Live View):
Video Codec: Set the compression mode to MJPEG or H264
Resolution: Set the resolution of the recorded video to 704x480, 352x240,
320x240.
Frame Rate: Set the frame rate for the recording: 1, 6, 10, 15, 20, or 30 fps.
Max Bit Rate (for H264 codec): Set the video bit rate from 32-16384 kbit/s. The
default value is dependent on the Resolution and Frame Rate.
Bit Rate Type: (for H264 codec): VBR (Variable Bit Rate) or CBR (Constant Bit
Rate). See previous section for details.
GOP (I-Frame Interval): Set the time span between frames, between 1-400. The
default value will follow the Frame Rate.
Advance Settings:
White Balance: Set White Balance mode to MWB (manual white balance),
AWB1 (auto white balance), Locked WB, Incandescent Lamp, Warm Light
Lamp, Natural Light, Fluorescent Lamp.
Exposure Time: Set shutter speed between 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/30, 1/60, 1/120,
1/250, 1/500, 1/750, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000, 1/10000, or 1/100000.
Video Standard: Select either 50Hz or 60Hz.
Day/Night Switch: Choose between Day, Night, Auto or Schedule.
Sensitivity: Choose between High, Normal, or Low.
Switch Time: Select from a range of 5 to 120.
Mirror: Flips the video image. The options for mirror are:

Off: Do not use this feature

Left/Right: flip images horizontally, left to right.

Up/Down: flip images vertically, upside-down.
»
Center: flip both horizontally and vertically.
WDR: Close or Enable Wide Dynamic Range.
BLC Area: Select the positioning of the area requiring Back Light Compensation.
Choices are Close, Up, Down, Left, Right and Center.
