1.3/3MP Infrared Outdoor IP Dome Camera w/ Motorized Lens
SAFETY
When installing your Ax45RM/Ax65RM camera be sure to avoid:
excessive heat, such as direct sunlight or heating appliances
contaminants such as dust and smoke
strong magnetic fields
moisture and humidity
areas with mechanical vibrations
fluorescent lamps or objects that reflect light and unstable light sources
temperatures below -40° C (-40° F) and above 50° C (122° F).

POWER SUPPLY

Ensure the supplied voltage meets the power consumption requirements of this camera
before powering the camera on. Incorrect voltage may cause irreparable damage to the
video camera and will effectively void the camera warranty.
Ax45RM/65RM requires AC24V or PoE+ power.
CLEANING
For maximum optical clarity, the camera dome or lens must remain clean. Use a soft,
dry cloth to remove finger prints or dust from the dome cover.
Use a blower to remove dust from the lens.
Do not use volatile solvents such as alcohol, benzene, or thinners, as they may
damage the surface finish.
SERVICING
To avoid electrical shock and to preserve the product warranty, DO NOT disassemble the
camera. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

PACKAGE CONTENTS

Ensure that the items received match those listed on the order form and the packing slip.
In addition to this manual and a fully assembled camera, the dome camera packing box
includes:

Surface Mount template x1

Dessicant x1. Use in all outdoor installations. Attach to the
underside of the camera's inner liner/shroud.
3.
Standard RJ45 Connector x2
4.
Rubber gasket x1. Use in all outdoor installations
5.
Flush Mount template x1
6.
Security torx bit x1
7.
Long Machine type screws x3 (for Flush Mounting with back
box installations)
8.
Round Head Screw (Tapping Type) with O-ring x4
9.
Plastic Anchor x4
10. 3ft network cable x1

1. Back box. Camera's back box comes with six (6) 90% pre-drilled hole dimples.
For surface mounting, complete drilling a minimum of two (2) holes.
2. Camera module / second housing.
3. Tilt bracket with locking screw
4. Inner liner / Shroud. Inner liner is attached to the camera module but can be
partially detached for easier lens adjustment. IR board
5. Screws securing the dome bubble housing to camera module (x3, silver)
6. Dome bubble housing / Dome cover

8. 3/4" Top conduit hole. During installation, sealant must be used to maintain the
IP67 status.
9. 3/4" Side conduit hole. During installation, sealant must be used to maintain the
IP67 status.
10. Six (6) 90% pre-drilled hole dimples.
11. Reset/Default pin-hole button. Press for 1 second to reboot the camera.
Press for 6 seconds to restore camera settings to factory defaults.
12. Micro SD Card slot for on-camera video storage. (microSD card sold separately)
13. Mini USB port. Manufacturer use only .
14. Screws attaching camera module to the back box (x3, silver)
15. Screws to engage locking arms (x2, black)
