ENGINE BOTTOM SIDE

• Remove the engine. (!5-2 to -5)
NOTE:
The following parts must be removed before disassembling the
engine bottom side (crankcase).
• Remove the cylinder head, cylinder and piston. (!6-4 to -6)
• Remove the magneto cover. (!14-10)
• Remove the right crankcase cover and clutch assembly.
(!8-3 and 7-9)
• Remove the kick starter idle gear and kick starter shaft.
(!8-3)
• Remove the gearshift linkage. (!9-3)
• Remove the oil pump No.1, No.2 and oil pump idle gear.
(!11-4)
• Disconnect the crankcase breather hose 1.

PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR REMOVAL

• Hold the crankshaft immovable with the special tool.
" 09930-44560: Rotor holder
• Remove the primary drive gear nut, washer and primary drive
gear 1.
The primary drive gear nut has left-hand threads.
• Remove the magneto rotor and key. (!14-11)
• Remove the cam chain and cam chain tensioner. (!6-7)
