FRONT AND REAR BRAKES
• Connect a transparent tube to the bleeder valve and set the
other end into a receptacle.
• Loosen the bleeder valve and pump the brake lever/pedal
until air bubbles stop coming out from the reservoir.
• Hold the brake lever/pedal in the squeezed position.
• Open the bleeder valve and tighten the bleeder valve.
• Release the brake lever/pedal.
• Repeat this sequence until air bubbles stop coming out from
the bleeder valve.
NOTE:
* Do not release the brake lever/pedal while the bleeder valve is
opened.
* Replenish brake fluid to the UPPER line when the brake fluid
level drops below LOWER line.
• Tighten the air bleeder valve.
$ Air bleeder valve: 6 N·m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.4 lb-ft)
• Pour brake fluid up to the UPPER line.
• Reassemble the reservoir cap.

BRAKE FLUID REPLACEMENT

• Remove the reservoir cap. (%16-3)
• Suck up the brake fluid as much as possible.
• Drain the old brake fluid as much as possible.
• Fill the reservoir with new brake fluid.
• Connect a transparent tube to the bleeder valve and set the
other end into a receptacle.
• Loosen the bleeder valve and pump the brake lever/pedal
until old brake fluid is completely out of the brake system.
• Bleed air from the brake system. (%16-3)
