Recording a Video

The SV-1600 captures video with synchronous sound in AVI (.avi) format.
To record a video:
1.
Press and hold the
The Recording Indicator LED flashes red, then turns solid bright blue. The SV-
1600 is then in Record Mode.
2.
Point the SV-1600 in the direction of the object you want to record.
3.
Press the
dv Button once.
The Recording Indicator LED flashes red and bright blue repeatedly. The SV-
1600 is now recording video.
For best results, try to keep a steady hand, and move the SV-1600 is smooth
motions. This helps to avoid blurred video.
4.
To stop recording video, press the
The Data Indicator LED displays solid bright blue.
5.
Repeat steps 2 - 4 to record additional separate videos.
6.
Once finished, press and hold the

Taking a Snapshot

The SV-1600 captures still images in JPEG (.jpg) format.
To take a snapshot:
1.
Press and hold the
The Recording Indicator LED flashes red, then turns solid bright blue. The SV-
1600 is then in Record Mode.
2.

dc Button once.
The Recording Indicator LED displays solid red. The SV-1600 is now in Snap-
shot Mode.
3.
Point the SV-1600 in the direction of the object you want to take a
picture of.
4.
Press the
dc Button once again.
The Recording Indicator LED flashes bright blue. The SV-1600 records a snap-
shot.
Try to keep a steady hand to avoid blurred pictures.
5.
Repeat steps 3 - 4 to record additional separate snapshots.
6.
Once finished, press and hold the
out of Record Mode.
dv button for three seconds.
dv Button once again.
dv Button for three seconds to exit
