 Fixed to 3D
The image on the TV screen is fixed to 3D
if you press 2D/3D DISP (p. 25) and set the
image on the LCD screen to 2D.
Panel unity
The image on the TV screen and LCD screen
toggles through together the following
sequences as you press 2D/3D DISP (p. 25);
3D  Left and Right images mixed  Left
image only  Right image only.
Tips

When you connect your camcorder to a TV

that is not compatible with 3D and select [Panel
unity], the image on the TV screen toggles
through the following sequences as you press
2D/3D DISP (p. 25);
Left image only  Left and Right images
mixed  Left image only Right image only.
HDMI TC Output
You can transfer time code, user bit data to
the device connected with the HDMI cable.
 Off
Does not output time code, user bit code.
On
Outputs time code, user bit code.

Notes
When set to [On], the displayed image is not to

be 3D if the connected device is not compatible
to HDMI TC input.
USB Connect
Select this item when [USB Select] does not
appear on the LCD screen by connecting
the camcorder to a computer with the USB
cable (supplied).

GB

60i/50i Sel
Select the settings depending on the TV
color systems of the countries/regions
where you use the camcorder.
60i
Select this when the TV color system is
NTSC.
 50i
Select this when the TV color system is PAL.

Notes
You cannot record/play back in the setting

of 50i (60i) for the recording media which
is formatted or recorded in the setting of 60i
(50i). Use another recording media or perform
[Format] if the message "Movie recording
disabled. " is displayed after switched the setting
of [60i/50i Sel]
Beep
On
A melody sounds when you start/stop
recording, or operate the touch panel.
 Off
Cancels the melody.
LCD Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the LCD
screen.
 Normal
Normal setting (normal brightness).
Bright
Select this when the LCD screen is not bright
enough.
Tips

This adjustment does not affect the recorded

images in any way.
