The following list describes changes that can be made that will enhance
the usability of the Scan Station in the corporate network environment.
Most of these changes require more advanced network administration
knowledge and should only be performed by a network administrator.
The administrator can:
• Add a network group to the domain that Scan Stations will be
assigned to.
• Assign network login name, password, domain name to each Scan
Station. See the section entitled, "Device settings" later in this
chapter.
• Add each Scan Station name to the previously defined Scan Station
group.
• Create shared folders on network servers that can restrict access to
only members of the defined Scan Station group.
To enter Administrator mode:
• Launch the Configuration Organizer and select File>Administrator.
By default, the Language menu will be displayed.
