Virtual keypad/
keyboard
4-4
The virtual keypad or keyboard is displayed with many of the
Administrative setup options.
If you are using the virtual keypad/keyboard from the Configuration
Organizer, it is easier to enter information using your PC keypad or
keyboard, than selecting numbers and letters as you would if you were
using the touch screen on the Scan Station.
When you enter information on the virtual keyboard/keypad, the
keyboard or keypad will be displayed interchangeably depending upon
whether you are entering alphabetic characters or numerics. For
example, if you enter the email address: Jim1234@aol.com, when you
enter Jim on the keyboard, then you enter 1234, as you press 1, the
keyboard will change to the keypad, then back to the keyboard when
you enter @aol.com.
Virtual Keypad — allows you to enter numeric information. Use the
Backspace/Delete key to clear the entry fields. Following is an example
of one of the virtual keypads that can be displayed. Other virtual
keypads may have additional options.
When you enter values on the virtual keypad, click Done to save your
entries.
