• Settings mode  this is the other screen the Scan Station will
display.
- Top of the screen: icons are displayed depicting the various
types of settings than can be changed. With these settings you
can change the way your scanned document will look, change the
file format in which it is saved, improve the image quality of the
scanned pages, all before the document is scanned and
delivered to the final destination(s). The Settings mode is
described in complete detail in the section entitled, "Customizing
settings for your scan session" later in this chapter. These
settings do not need to be changed unless the original document
that you are scanning requires something different than the
default.
- Middle of the screen: displays the setting values or a pop-up
window with selections associated with the selected settings type.
- Bottom of screen: the button in the lower-left corner allows you
to toggle back and forth between Settings mode and Destination
mode. Icons representing the currently selected settings are also
displayed in this area.

When you are in Settings mode, the button on the bottom left
corner will display the text "Exit" indicating that you can exit the
Settings mode by touching this button.
