INPUT
Input R / L
Unbalanced amplifier input with an input sensitivity of
1 V

The L and R phono sockets are connected to the output
sockets on the pre-amplifier. Connect L to L, R to R (s.
Appendix A 1).
Balanced Input R/L
Input for pre-amplifiers with symmetrical output. Connect
the XLR sockets L and R to the pre-amplifier sockets with
the same designation (see Appendix A 2).
Bridged mono mode
For bridged mono operation please use the XLR socket
marked L/Mono (see Wiring variants and Appendix
A 2).
Note
:
The A 1560 is equipped with two variants of input socket:
Cinch
and
XLR
symmetrical.
equipment only one variant may be selected at any one
time. The inputs not used must be left vacant.

Mains input

This socket is for mains connection and contains the
main fuse. The fuse should only be replaced with another
fuse rated at the values printed on the amplifier.

Mains switch

Not present on all model variants (depending on national
safety rules).
For operation the mains switch (if present) is to be
switched to the position marked 'I'.
