Opening and closing the flap
The flap is fitted with a snap closure.
To open the flap press lightly at the marked point; the flap will
then spring open.
Never pull the flap – the snap closure will be damaged!
To close the flap raise it and press it lightly against the
machine until the snap closure engages.
Press the button to switch the power amplifier on and off.
During the power-on phase the loudspeaker outputs are
switched off. This is indicated by flashing LEDs above the
 and 
 buttons.
When the unit is switched on and ready to use, the green
LED above the mains switch glows.
To avoid overloading the domestic fuse system when the
system is switched on and off too quickly, the amplifier
does not respond immediately if you switch if off, then on
again. Instead there is a pause lasting about two seconds
before the unit comes on again.

Caution!
The mains button does not disconnect the unit from the
mains supply. Even when the green LED is off, parts of
the unit remain connected to the mains supply.
If the unit is not to be used for a long period we
recommend that you disconnect the mains plug at the
wall socket. When you connect it to the mains again, it
will still be set up as it was when you switched off.
