Source selection and volume control are carried out using the large rotary knobs. Functions which are less frequently
needed are controlled by means of menus, which are called up using the

detail the functions of the front panel buttons and the meaning of the on-screen information.

Front panel controls

Touching the
button briefly switches the device on / off.
The
button remains dimly lit even in stand-by mode, to indicate that the
PA 3100 HV is ready for use.
Caution!
The mains button is not an isolation switch. Certain parts of the machine remain
connected to mains voltage even when the screen is switched off and dark. If you
know you will not be using the machine for a long period, we recommend that you
disconnect it from the mains by withdrawing the mains plug from the wall socket.
Please see the chapter entitled 'Notes on Energy Saving' for details of power
consumption.
The desired listening source is selected by turning this rotary knob; your chosen
source then appears on the screen. After a short delay the machine switches to
the appropriate source.
It is possible to assign individual names to the listening sources.

Holding the knob pressed in activates the record monitor function. To end the
function, hold the knob pressed in once more.
