Connecting/using the handsets

Searching for a handset, find the phone's IP address ("Paging")

You can locate your handset using the base.
¤
Briefly press the registration/paging key on the base
All handsets will ring at the same time ("paging"), even if ringers are switched off.
The current (local) IP address for the base appears on the handset display
(e.g. on a Gigaset C59H/C610H handset).

Ending paging

Briefly press the registration/paging key on the base
Or:

Press the talk key c on the handset.
Or:

Press the display key
Or:

Do not press any key on the base or handset:
After approx. 30 seconds, the paging call will end automatically.
Please note
u
An incoming external call will not interrupt the paging process.
u
If there are already two internal connections between the handsets/to the
answering machine (Gigaset N300A IP), then paging is not possible.
u
A paging call is also signalled acoustically on handsets where the ringtone is
permanently deactivated.
