Prepare The Printer for Inspection

Prepare The Printer for Inspection
To prepare the printer for a safety inspection, read the safety notices below,
then do the following steps.

1. Have the operator take the printer off-line.
2. Power off the printer.
3. Unplug the printer power cord from the customer's power outlet.

Inspect Mechanical Parts

Top Cover And Cabinet Doors
1. Inspect the top cover:
a. Open the top cover. On cabinet models, make sure the gas spring
