D. Factory-Built Chimney
The chimney can be new or existing, and must meet the
following minimum requirements.
• Must be a 6 inch (152mm) diameter (ID) high
temperature chimney listed to UL 103 HT (2100
or ULC S629M.
• Must use components required by the manufacturer
for installation.
• Must maintain clearances required by the manufacturer
for installation.
• Refer to manufacturers instructions for installation.
NOTICE: In Canada when using a factory-built chim-
ney it must be safety listed, Type UL103 HT (2100

[1149 C] CLASS "A" or conforming to CAN/ULC-S629,
o
STANDARD FOR 650 C FACTORY-BUILT CHIM-
NEYS.
