This chapter provides an overview of a typical Rapid Eye Hybrid LT DVR installation
process:
• Connecting cameras (analog) to your Rapid Eye Hybrid LT DVR
• Connecting the Hybrid LT DVR to a network, telephone line, or both
• Configuring the Hybrid LT DVR
Note Experienced installers may wish to go directly to

A Rapid Eye Hybrid LT DVR can be operated:
• Without a personal computer (PC). Connect a VGA monitor and mouse directly to the
DVR to use LocalView, onsite.
• With a PC, for remote access using Admin and View software. For more information,
see Chapter 2, Installation.
Note Installers will need to use LocalView briefly to assign the IP Address of the
Hybrid LT DVR.
