3. Wipe the surface of the TEL connection con-
nector with alcohol and adhere the terminal
seal.
The TEL connection connector on the dual
FAX is unavailable (invalid). Seal the termi-
nal securely to prevent a user from connect-
ing a external telephone.
For 230 V / New Zealand model only
4. Install the supplied ferrite core onto the
modular cord. Be sure to loop the cord three
times through the ferrite core.
Keep an interval of 30 mm
between the ferrite core and the terminal.
5. Insert the plug with ferrite core into the line
connection connector. Connect the other
plug to the telephone line.
For 120 V/ Australian model, use the sup-
plied modular cord.
