Setting up a hot key number

You can only set up one hot key number.
Call the menu.
Select and confirm.
Enter the base PIN (factory setting 0000) and confirm.
This menu item is highlighted if a hot key number is alrea-
dy set up.
Enter the hot key number.
Open the supplementary menu.
Select and confirm.
and The phone is in standby.
If you are operating your phone downstream of a te-
lephone system: Don't forget the prefix code num-
ber(s) (see also page 131)!

Activating hot key selection

Call the menu.
Select and confirm.
Enter the base PIN (factory setting 0000) and confirm.
The display is highlighted if this function is active.
To change the setting:
Activate/deactivate the function.
and The phone is in standby.
When the base lock is active a hot key can only be
selected if the hot key number is the entered emer-
gency number.
