Adding Fixtures to the Patch
The following Procedures show navigation using the Arrow Keys, however, the mouse may be used
where applicable. When a Fixture is selected, it is highlighted in a yellow field with the current
data cell highlighted in brown. When the data is being edited, the data cell turns red. Press
[ENTER] or move the cursor to another cell to accept the data. Press [C] to cancel.
Follow below to add four Mac 500's and four Mac 600's from the Cache to the Patch.
Procedure:
1. Press [MENU] [04].
2. Press [ ].
3. Press [1].
4. Press [ ].
5. Press [1].
6. Press [ ].
7. Press [INSERT] three times.
8. Press [2].
9. Press [ ].
10. Press [INSERT] four times.
11. Press [EXIT] to close Fixtures Patch page.
Loading a new Fixture to the Cache
Follow below to load a new Fixture to the Cache. In this example, we will load from the Fixture Library
located on the Hard Disk. The new Fixture type will replace an unused Fixture type in the Cache.
Procedure:
1. Press [MENU] [04].
2. Press [MENU] [ ] [0] [ENTER].
3. Press [] [1].
4. Press [ ].
5. Press [ ] to select an unused Fixture type.
6. Press [2] [ENTER].
7. Press [ ] to access
8. Select 0: Load.
9. Press [0] [ENTER] to load selected fixture.

Cursor moves to Fixture 1 Type cell in Patch
area.
Selects Type 1 (Mac 500) from Cache.
Cursor moves to DMX address cell.
Sets DMX start address at DMX 1,
Universe 2 (1,2).
Cursor moves to Fixture 2 Type cell.
Adds and addresses 2nd, 3rd and 4th Mac 500.
Selects Type 2 (Mac 600) from Cache.
Cursor moves to DMX address cell.
Adds and addresses four Mac 600's.

Selects Hard Drive to load new Fixture from.
Selects Edit Cache.
Cursor moves to Cache area.
Opens Fixture Library.
Use the [ ] [ ] keys to scroll through
the fixture types.
