2. Excesive free play between clutch drum and driving discs
Gearbox noise
1. Gears worn
2. Gear splines worn
1. Chain stretched or badly adjusted
2. Engine sprocket and rear wheel sprocket worn
1. Clutch springs weak
2. Clutch discs worn
1. Spring tension uneven
2. Clutch discs bent
1. Gearshift forks bent or seized
2. Gearchange pawls worn
3. Gearshift forks' control pins damaged
1. Selector return spring weak or broken
2. Gearshift forks worn
1. Sliding dogs worn
2. Gear splines worn
3. Sliding dog seats on gears worn
4. Splines gearshift forks' control shaft worn
5. Gearshift forks control pins worn
1. Air filter dirty
2. Carburettor main jet blocked or wrong size (TC, TXC)
3. Poor quality fuel
4. Intake manifold loose
5. Spark plug gap too large
6. Inadequate compression
7. Incorrect valve play
8. Faulty valve guides or seats
9. Valve springs weak or seized
1. Excessive coke on combustion chamber and/or
piston crown
2. Insufficient engine oil, or wrong oil used
3. Radiator air flow blocked
