Configuring Network Settings Using IP Extender Manager

NOTE: The IP Extender Manager software is the recommended method for changing
all settings.
To change an NETRS232's network settings using IP Extender Manager, the NETRS232
device must first be unlocked. Right-click on the device and select Unlock. The default
password is "admin". Then right-click on the device in the IP Extender tree and select
"Properties. " If the device is accessible on the network, a dialog box will appear.
From IP Extender Manager, you can change the Name, IP Address, Subnet Mask, and
Gateway settings for your device. If your network assigns IP addresses through DHCP,
you can also enable the Use DHCP setting.
Note: Changing the network settings of a NETRS232 device may make that device
unavailable to other stations that have activated a connection to that device using
older network settings.
