3. Telephone
3.14 Conference
A conference call allows two extensions to speak
together with an outside caller. While you are talking with
a caller, page the base unit or a handset to start the
conference call.
3.14.1 With the cordless handset

During a phone call, press {HOLD} to put the call on
hold.

To page the base unit, press {0}.
To page another cordless handset, enter its
extension number ({1} or {2}).

When the paged party answers, press {Conf} (soft
key) to make a conference call.
L To leave the conference, press {OFF}. The other
parties can continue the conversation.
3.14.2 With the base unit

During a phone call, press {HOLD} to put the call on
hold.

To page one cordless handset, enter its extension
number ({1} or {2}).

When the paged party answers, press {CONF} to
make a conference call.
L To leave the conference, press {SP-PHONE}.
The other parties can continue the conversation.
During a conference call
L The phone call can be put on hold by pressing
{HOLD} on the cordless handset or on the base unit.
Communications between extensions are not
suspended. Only the person who placed the call on
hold can resume the full conference; by pressing
{Conf} (soft key) on the cordless handset or
{CONF} on the base unit.

3.15 Transferring a call
A telephone call can be transferred between the base
unit and the cordless handset, and between two
cordless handsets using the intercom feature.
3.15.1 To transfer a call from the cordless
handset

During a phone call, press {HOLD} to put the call on
hold.

To page the base unit, press {0}.
To page another cordless handset, enter its
extension number ({1} or {2}).

Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If the paged party does not answer, press
{TALK} to return to the phone call.

To complete the transfer, press {OFF}.
To answer a transferred call with the base unit:
Press {SP-PHONE} to answer the page.
L After the paging party hangs up the call, you can talk
to the outside caller.
To answer a transferred call with another cordless
handset:
Press {TALK} or {INTERCOM} to answer the page.
L After the paging party hangs up the call, you can talk
to the outside caller.
3.15.2 To transfer a call from the base unit

During a phone call, press {HOLD} to put the call on
hold.

To page one cordless handset, enter its extension
number ({1} or {2}).

Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If the paged party does not answer, press
{INTERCOM} to return to the phone call.

To complete the transfer, press {SP-PHONE} or
{INTERCOM}.
To answer a transferred call with the cordless
handset:
Press {TALK} or {INTERCOM} to answer the page.
L After the paging party hangs up the call, you can talk
to the outside caller.
