1) When a vent is installed

The aperture ratio should permit an intake velocity Vs through the vent of 1.5m/s.

The height of the air outlet duct is HD = H–h.
2) When a vent cannot be installed
Q
Install a base so that the height of wall is the same as that of air outlet duct.
(Height for a base is 500 to 1000mm.)

The height of the air outlet duct is HD = H–h'.
