ENTRY STEP
PNEUMATIC STEPWELL COVER
(Front Entry ModeJ)
Your motor home is equipped with an air
op~rated
slideoutstepwell cover.
The stepwell covej' closes off th~ stepwell area whenyou are travelillg. When
the cover is extended, it provides a floor surface for the front seat passenger.
- If the chassis air storage tanks contain less than 90 psi air pressure, the
stepwell cover will not funCtion. Check the ail, pressure on the air pressure
gauge on the driver's instmment panel.
WARNING
Do not operate the pneumatic stepwell cover while
anyone is positioned in the stepwell. A person
standing in the stepwell could lose their balance and
fall ifthe-stepwell cover is operated.
WARNING
Feet, legs, hands, and other body parts could be
pinched or injured during stepwell cover operation.
,Keep clear of the stepwell cover during operation.
Step well Cover Operation
1. The stepwell cover control is located on the passenger side of the dash .
. 2. To extend the cover, move the .control switch to the up position.
3. To retract the cover, move the control.switch to the down position.
4. The stepweIl cover can be pushed in manually to retract. To retract the
cover manually:
a. Be sure that the dash air pressure gauge shows no pressure (0 psi).
b. The top sUlface of the cover should drop a couple of inches. If it
doesn't, move it slightly by hand.
c. Push the cover into the retracted position.
