CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR
Your motm home is equipped with a carbon monoxide (CO) detector. It is
designed to alert you to the presence of CO·gas. Test the CO detector after the
motor home has been in storage, before each trip, and at least once a week
during use. The carbon monoxide detector does not contain·a battery. It is
wired directly into the motor home electrical system, and draws power from
either the chassis or the coach batteries.
At least one of the battery disconnects must be ON in order for the carbon
monoxide detector to receive power. An indicator light on the detector will be
lit if the detector is receiving poWer.
Refer to the operating instl'uctions included in your Owner's Information
Package.
··WARNING
The carbon monoxide will not operate if both battery
disconnects are OFF. Refer to Section 11 for infor-
mation on battery disconnects.
