SEATS AND SEAT BELTS
SAFETY SEATS FOR CHILDREN
Use a safety seat that is recommended for the size and weight of the child.
Seat backs should be upright for use with child safety seats.
WARNING
Carefully follow all ofthe manufacturer's instructions
that come with the safety seat that you put in your
vehicle. Make sure that the shoulder belt (if provided
atthe seating position where the safety seat is being
used) does not cross or rest in front of the child's
face or neck. If you do not install and use the safety
seat properly, the child may be injured in a sudden
stop or collision.
WARNING
When using any infant or child restraint system, it is
important that you follow the instructions and
warnings provided by the manufacturer concerning
its installation and use. Failure to follow each ofthe
restraint manufacturer's instructions could increase
the risk or severity of an injury in the event of a
collision or sl.ldden stop.
