TOWING A VEHICLE OR TRAILER
("TOWED LOAD")
Note: Some states and provinces require brakes and safety
chains on towed vehicles. Consult the proper authorities in
the states or provinces through which you will be traveling.

WARNING
The chassis brake _ system was designed to
accommodate only the GVWR of your motor home.
There is no provision for braking oftheloaded motor
home and any towed load. Any vehicle or trailer
towed with your motor home mustbe equipped with
brakes which are applied automatically and in
. proportion to the application of the. motor home
brakes.
Some of the fact~rs listed above apply more specifically to towing a load
with your motor home. These factors are:
GCWR -
Gross Combined Weight Rating
GTW - Gross Towed Weight
MTW - Maximum Tongue Weight
HITCH RATING
If you expect to pull a vehicle with your motor home, there are additional
guidelines that you mustfollow:
• Your motor home is equipped with a 10,000 lb. hitch
receiver assembly. Refer to Section 42 "Towing A Vehicle"
for information on tOH~l1g with your illataI' home.
