Your motor home is equipped with an air,6perated slideOlit stepwell cover.
The stepwell cover cl6sesoff the stepwell area when )rouare traveling. When
the cover is extended, it provides a floor surface for the frontseat passenger.
If the chassis air storage tanks contain less than 70 psi air pressure, the
stepwell cover will not function. Check the 'IiI' pressure on the_ air pressure
gauge on the driver's instlUment panel. .
, WARNING
Do not operate the pneumatic stepwell cover while
. anyone is positioned in the stepweli. A person
- standing in the stepwE!1I could lose their balance and
fall if the stepwell cover is operated.
WARNING
Feet, legs, hands, and other body parts could be
pinched or injured during stepwell cover operation.
Keep Clear of thestepwell cover during operation.

Stepwell Cover Operation
1.
Thestepwell cover control is located on the passenger sIde of the dash.
2. To extend the cover, press and release the bottom of the s\\,itch.
3.To retract the cover, press and release the t(jP of the switch .

a. Be sure that the dash air pressure gauge shows no pressure (0 psi).
b. The top surface of the
COVer
should drop a couple of inches. If it
'doesn't, move it slightly by hand.
e: Pushthe cover into the retracted position.
