GENERATOR
CAUTION
Excessive cranking can overheat and damage the
. starter motor. Do not crank for more than 30 seconds
at a time. Wait at least 2 mi?utes before trying again.
2. See the Troubleshooting Guide in Onan'sRV Genset
Operator's Manual located in the Owner's Information
Package if the generator does not start after several tries.
To stop the generator: .
1. Run the generator atno load for a few minutes to
illow
the engine to cool down and then push the control switch -
briefly to its STOP position.

Read and understand the generator operating, maintenance and safety
. instructions furnished in your Owner's Information Package.

Do not smoke or use an open flame near the generator unit or fuel tank.
WARNING
Do not place flammable material or store any other
materials in thE1 generator compartment.
WARNING-
Do not block the generator ventilating air inlets or
outlets. The engine requires a constant supply of
cooling air. Fiestricted ventilating air inlets or outlets
can cause engine failure or fire from engine
overheating.
Do not use generator ventilating air for heating any interior living space,
Ventilating air can contain high concentrations of lethal gases.
