◎Camera functions related to frame rate
Actual frame rate of the camera is decided by several setting.
Setting
Frame rate
Image height
Partial scan mode
Shutter speed
Trigger mode
1. Frame rate
The camera drives at the frame rate set to AcquisitionFrameRateRaw/Abs. However, the camera cannot drive at the speed
that exceeds the frame rate by partial scan function with setting of Image height.
For example: when AcquisitionFrameRateRaw is 50 and frame rate by partial scan is 100, the camera drives at 50 fps.
2. Image height
When the value Height is changed, partial scan mode is changed to on and frame rate increase according to set value (refer to
pp.30-31). However, the camera cannot drive at the frame rate more than value set to AcquisitionFrameRateRaw/Abs.
For example: when AcquisitionFrameRateRaw is 15 and frame rate by partial scan is 50, the camera drives at 15 fps.
3. Partial scan mode
When PartialScanMode is Off, the camera drives at the frame rate that is same as when Height is HeightMax.

When PartialScanMode is On, the camera drives according to 1. and 2.
4. Shutter speed
When shutter speed is set to less than 1 / setting frame rate, intended frame rate cannot achieve.
For example: when frame rate by partial scan is 30 and shutter speed is set to 1/10 second, the camera drive at up to 10 fps.
5. Trigger mode
The frame rate depends on cycle of input trigger signal. However, even if cycle of input trigger signal is shorter than frame rate,
frame rate does not increase.
For example: when frame rate by partial scan is 10 and cycle of input trigger signal is 30, the camera drive at up to 10 fps.
The above are based on the assumption that data transfer rate does note exceed 1 Gbps.
When "CurrentFrameRate" is read, frame rate that the camera drives at that time is informed.
