Hookswitch Flash

Flashing the hookswitch is used to allow a single line telephone user to hold a call for
transferring or holding, if the flash time is within the assigned time in program [207]. The
procedure to transfer a call or hold is determined in program [104] "Hold Mode Selection".
Flashing the hookswitch can be also used to disconnect a call, if the flash time is more than
the assigned time in program [207].
• If "MODE 1" was selected in program [207], the system will recognize flashing the

!
hookswitch as hooking, while a busy tone or reorder tone is sent or during a conversation.
The system will recognize as 1 being dialed in the pulse mode, while a dial tone is sent.
The system can refuse receiving a pulse signal by selecting "Disable" in program [614].
Therefore, even if the hookswitch is flashed during a dial tone, the system will regard it
as hooking.
