7206/7210-Fan Module

The 7210-Fan is t he f an module of t he DES-7210, while t he 7206-Fan i s t hat o f t he
DES-7206. T he 7206/7210-Fan pr ovides a s ound heat d issipation s ystem f or t he e ntire
system to ensure the stable working of the system.
The 7210-Fan provides various system LEDs, as described in the following table:

7200-1200AC/2000AC Power Module

As t he A C power m odule of t he s ystem, t he 7200-1200AC/2000AC provides t he input
interface of 110/220V AC power supply for the DES-7210/7206.

OFF: The fan tray has not been powered on
Power LED
Solid green: The fan module is normally powered on
OFF: Normally working
Alarm LED
Red: The fan tray fails
In the DES-7210/7206 system, when the 7206/7210-Fan has an alarm, it
means that the fan tray has failed. When this happens, you should replace
the failed one with a normal one as promptly as possible, preferably within
10 minutes. The 7206/7210-Fan is hot swappable.
The DES-7210/7206 system supports 1+1 redundancy for the AC power
supply. F or higher s tability an d r eliability of t he entire s ystem, you are
recommended to configure 1+1 redundancy of the 7200-1200AC/2000AC
for the DES-7210/7206.
The DES-7210/7206 system supports 1 +1 r edundancy f or bot h t he A C
power s upply and D C p ower s upply. However, p lease n ote that the t wo
power supplies in the 1+1 redundancy must be of the same power module.
In ot her words, t hey m ust be b oth AC p ower s upplies or D C p ower
supplies. Do not mix them, as this may cause abnormal running or even
damage of t he s ystem. I n addi tion, t wo po wer m odules ar e m andatory
when a P oE d evice i s i n use. 7200 single po wer d oes not s upport a ny
POE device.
