Adjusting the Lamp

After a new lamp is installed, it will be necessary to align the lamp in order to center and flatten the hot
spot. Knobs located at the luminaire's backcap allow for adjustment.
Tools and Supplies:
none
WARNING: Backcap may be HOT during lamp operation.
To adjust lamp:
Step 1. Power up luminaire and allow to warm up for at least ten minutes.
Step 2. Set intensity to 100%.
Step 3. Position beam on a white wall at a distance of 10' to 20'.
Step 4. Using control console, open beam size iris, set zoom for mid-range, and adjust for hard
edge.
Step 5. At backcap, using horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) knobs, adjust hot spot to center of beam
(Figure
Step 6. Using focus (Z) knob, adjust beam to flatten hot spot.
Note: Be sure to reset Lamp Hours when installing a new lamp.
