Installation
WARNING:
Make sure power to the fireplace has been shut off prior to installation.
NOTE:
Refer to the wiring diagram on page 62 while making wiring harness connections.
Special Instructions for this Fireplace
If using the Greensmart™ remote, the blower included with this fireplace should be attached to a
power lead (included with the remote) and connected to the Fan Controller (see wiring diagram on
previous page). See the remote installation instructions for further details.

Bypassing the Rheostat - In addition,
you will need to bypass the rheostat (the
remote controls the blower). This is
done by disconnecting and discarding
the electrical line that leads from the
snap disk to the rheostat (carefully
remove the wire tie from the wiring
harness – see "a"). Attach the lead from
the power input to the snap disk (see
"b").

Remove the concealment cove (see Figure 3).

Unscrew the four screws holding the control cover in place (see Figure 4). Carefully remove the
control cover (see Figure 5)
