Depending upon the vent configuration, you may be required to adjust the restrictor positions.

See the burner installation instructions for details on installing this component. Make sure to adjust the intake restrictor to the position indicated on the vent configuration page. To adjust the restrictor, loosen the two screws securing the restrictor to the firebox and slide it to the correct position as shown below.

This occurs when it is turned 1/4 turn when it is disengaged. Follow the directions below to re-install the latch if it becomes loose. (b) Remove and discard the Natural Gas (NG) orifice. Place the LP orifice in the pilot assembly then replace the pilot hood, tightening the pilot hood until it is snug (do not over-tighten).
