WHEEL ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT

WHEEL ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove:
• Lower cowl
2. Place the machine on a level place and
hold it up on upright position.
3. Sit 1~2 m (3.3~6.6 ft) behind the machine
and look at both sides of the wheels below
the rear wheel axle.
4. Turn the handlebar left and right to make
the front wheel straight.
NOTE:
• To make the front wheel straight, provide b
and c with the same distance as seen along
the extension of the line a connecting the
rear end of the front wheel 1 and the front
end of the rear wheel 2.
• Figure A shows that the front wheel is turned
clockwise (b > c).
• Figure B shows that the front wheel is
straight (b = c).
5. Check:
• Wheel alignment
With the front wheel straight (b = c),
check whether the distances d and e are
equal.
If not ≥ Adjust.
