Set the child lock PIN query mode in this line using the right/left arrow keys for
Always or never.
If the pin query mode has been set to Always and the PIN has not yet been changed, you
will be asked to change the PIN. Proceed as described in Section 9.3.2.
Never
If Never is set then you will never be asked for the unit PIN. The child lock has been deacti-
vated.
Always
If Always is set you will always be asked for the PIN when you try to call up the main menu
or select a blocked program or a blocked hard disk recording.

9.3.2 Changing the PIN

The device's PIN code was set to 0000 in the factory.
>
Press the OK key.
The change PIN code menu will be displayed.

Enter in the device PIN line, using the numerical keypad , the current device
PIN code (factory setting is 0000).

Enter, in the Enter new PIN line, the your new device PIN code using the numeri-
cal keypad.
>
Repeat the entry in the Repeat new PIN line.
Changing the PIN code in this way will result in you being returned automatically to
the Child lock menu.
Note!
Ensure that you never forget the device's PIN code. Please ask your specialised dealer for
help if you do!

9.3.3 Selecting a TV channel

Press the OK key.
The TV main favourites list will be displayed. The program that is currently being
displayed is marked.

Press the red control key to display the selection window.
You now have the option to select the program list type that you want. You can also
select from the various favourites lists. Refer to Sections 6.4.1 and 7.2.3.1.

Use the up/down arrow keys to select the program list type that you want (e.g.
favourites lists).
>
Press OK to confirm.
A selection window will be displayed showing the various favourites lists, provided
that this has been switched on in Section 6.4.1.
>
Press OK to confirm.
The selected program list will be displayed.
>
Now use the arrow keys to highlight the program that you want to save.
>
Press the yellow control key to save the program.
