> Press the Option key (maybe several times) until a selection table appears beneath
the Sub-titles window showing the Sub-titles languages and/or the video-text
pages that are being broadcast via Sub-titles.
> Mark the language/video-text page that you want with the up/down arrow keys.
> Press OKto confirm.
Sub-titles will now be displayed.
Please note that this function is only available when Sub-titles are actually being broadcast
and this setting is lost after you switch to another program.

7.14 PIP function (Picture-in-picture)

Your receiver can also use the so-called PIP function. This enables you to display a further
small picture (PIP image) in the main picture.
> Press the PIP key to switch "PIP" mode on.
The current main picture, which can be either a TV program or a hard disk playback,
will be superimposed as a small (PIP-) picture in the top right corner and the last TV
program that you watched will be displayed as the main picture.
The main picture sound is always active in PIP mode.
> Press the Return key to swap the two pictures. The PIP picture will now be the main
picture and vice-versa.
> "PIP" mode can be switched off by pressing the PIP key once again.
The main picture will be suppressed and the small (PIP) picture will be displayed as
the main picture.
or
> Press the TV/Radio key.
The small picture (PIP) will be suppressed and the main picture will be displayed
without any alterations.

7.16 Electronic program guide SFI (SiehFern Info)

Your digital receiver is equipped with an electronic program guide. This enables you to
display program information on a specific program or several programs on the screen.
You can quickly achieve an overview of the currently running channels or of the channels
broadcast during the day or of the following days.
The SFI functions enable you to:
- Display program content information on your screen
- Select broadcasts, which automatically start at the beginning of their broadcast
- Programm Timers
- Search for and set specific program types (genre).

7.16.1 Importing the SFI-data

Your device will update the program information at theupdate time set according to Section
9.2.2. The device must be in the standby mode for this purpose. The device will switch itself
on at the set update time, so that the SFI data can be downloaded from the SFI channel
dataflow.
