    7.2 Entering Setup Mode To setup or to change the Star 505R settings, you have to enter the Setup Mode first. To do so, enter the Master ID (default=00000000)* and press the <ENT> key. There are 4 main Setup menus and you automatically get into “SETUP MENU F1”...
  • Page 18 7.4 Setting Maximum Number of Cardholder IDs You can set the maximum number of cardholder IDs that can be registered on the Star 505R. By default, the Star 505R is set to store up to 10,000 cardholders and 50,000 events and you can adjust this setting to increase the cardholder capacity at the expense of event memory.
