You have to initialize the Star 505R unit prior to installation. Once power is supplied to the Star 505R, press down the initialization switch on the back of the Star 505R unit and then keep it more than 2 seconds, then you can see displays below on the LCD. 7.2 Entering Setup Mode To setup or to change the Star 505R settings, you have to enter the Setup Mode first. To do so, enter the Master ID (default=00000000)* and press the <ENT> key.
