Quick Installation Guide 3.2 Check Point during Installation 3.2.1 Termination Resistor Termination Resistors are used to match impedance of the network to the impedance of the transmission line being used. When impedance is mismatched, the transmitted signal is not completely absorbed by the receiver and a portion of signal is reflected back into the transmission line. - Page 8 If you do not find both earth ground and chassis ground, then connect one end of shield wire to power ground. Once power is supplied to the 505R/FINGER007 series, press down the initialization switch on the back of the 505R/FINGER007 series unit. Keep it down for about 3 seconds until you see the display shown below. Press number 1 key to initialize the device. Otherwise, press number 0. -
