Chapter 8 Backing up and restoring CallPilot
To restore the CallPilot information:

Start your web browser.

Log on to CallPilot Manager.

Click the Operations heading.

Click the Backup/Restore link.

Click the Proceed button.
Note: When you click the Proceed button to start a restore, the CallPilot Mini/
CallPilot 150 shuts down and drops all of the users accessing CallPilot. This includes users
accessing their mailboxes, callers leaving a message and callers waiting in Call Center
Skillsets.
Make sure that there is no one using the CallPilot Mini/CallPilot 150 before you start the
restore.
For information about how to determine if the CallPilot ports are busy, refer to
"Programming CallPilot 150 DNs to memory buttons" on page

Close your web browser.
Note: To ensure proper operation, you must close the web browser window.

Start the CallPilot Backup and Restore Utility (CallPilotBRU.exe).
The CallPilot Backup/Restore Utility screen appears.

Click the Restore option.

In the Local Folder box, enter the path name of the directory on your computer in which the
CallPilot backup information is stored.
10 In the CallPilot 150 hostname or IP addresses box, enter the host name or IP address of the
CallPilot Mini/CallPilot 150 to which you want to restore information.
11 Click the OK button.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
12 If the information on the confirmation dialog is correct, click the Continue button.
If the information is not correct, click the Cancel button and repeat steps 11 to 13.
A dialog box appears when the restore is completed.
13 Click the Continue button.
