OPERATING THE 4X1 HD SWITCHER W/ AUDIO DECODING

The Digital Audio Decoder for HDMI has 8 RCA outputs. A maximum of 6
discrete channels of audio can be output via these connectors. 2 connectors
are available for bi-amping the front left and right channels.
•
This product was intended for use with a separate audio amplifi er. The RCA
output connectors on the rear panel will require the use of an audio amplifi er
to produce adequate volume output.
•
This unit will support the following audio formats:
LPCM (up to 6 channels)
Dolby Digital (AC-3 up to 6 channels)
Dolby Pro Logic
Dolby Pro Logic II
•
This unit features multiple EDID (display information) modes which will
determine what audio formats can be used. For more information please see
page 36.
•
This unit will accept sources that use Deep Color.
