5. PREPARATION BEFORE SEWING

5-1. Installing the needle

Turn off the power switch before installing the needle. The motor will keep turning even after the power is switched off
as a result of the motor's inertia. Wait until the motor stops fully before starting work.
The machine may operate if the treadle is depressed by mistake, which could result in injury.

5. PREPARATION BEFORE SEWING
1. Turn the machine pulley to move the needle bar to its
highest position.
2. Loosen the screws (1).
3. Insert the needle (2) straight in as far as it will go so that the
long groove is facing inward, and then securely tighten the
screws (1).
