6-8-1. Replacement of Soft Brake Arm
(T) Assembly
Reel table position: Standard cassette position
Mode: Unthreading end
Removal/Attachment
1. Remove the spring shown in the figure.
2. Remove the stopper washer and remove the soft
brake arm (T) assembly.
3. Attach the soft brake arm (T) assembly in the
reverse order of steps 1 and 2.
6-8-2. Replacement of TL Soft Brake
Assembly
Reel table position: Standard cassette position
Mode: Unthreading end
Removal/Attachment
1. Remove the spring shown in the figure.
2. Remove the two stopper washers and remove the
TL release lever and TL soft brake assembly.
3. Attach the soft brake arm (T) assembly in the
reverse order of steps 1 and 2.
