ENGINE DISASSEMBLY
4.Remove:
Rocker arm shafts 1
Rocker arms (intake/exhaust)
NOTE:
Attach the Slide Hammer Set 2 to the
rocker arm shaft, and then slide out the
them.
Slide hammer set:
P/N. YU-01083-A
Slide hammer bolt:
P/N. 90890-01083
Weight:
P/N. 90890-01084

VALVE

NOTE:
Before removing the internal parts (valve,
valve spring, valve seat etc.) of the cylinder
head, the valve sealing should be checked.
1.Check:
Valve sealing
Leakage at valve seat → Inspect the valve
face, valve seat and valve seat width.
Refer to "INSPECTION AND REPAIR -
VALVE SEAT".

Valve seat checking steps:
Pour a clean solvent 1 into the intake and
exhaust ports.
Check the valve seating.
There should be no leakage at the valve
seat 2.
