Connecting to a TV

The YPbPr connections provide high-quality audio and video to your TV set or monitor.

Connect between the YPbPr component connections on the receiver and the HDTV using
component video cables.

Connect audio (red and white) RCA-type cables between the receiver's audio outputs and the
audio input connections that go with the YPbPr connectors on your TV set or monitor.

If you do not see a picture, change the resolution setting on the receiver.

Turn up the volume on your TV and confirm you have sound. Check the RCA-type audio
connections if you don't hear any sound.
No Picture on the TV
This section will help you see a picture on the TV in the event that you could not do so in the
previous sections.

Connect RCA-type cables between the receiver and the TV set or monitor.

Make sure the receiver and TV set or monitor are on.

Make sure the TV is set to display the satellite TV connection. Look on the back of your TV and
consult your TV user's guide.

Change the TV set or monitor display settings as described in the next section.

Switch the TV to display satellite TV from the YPbPr (component) or DISH DVI (digital) inputs. If
you have a picture, you are finished.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the TV displays the video from the receiver.
